- Taste: Big tangy sweet deep cherry background apple cloying sugars
- Where I got it : Costco / Portland
- How much: $6.50 USD – 22 fl.oz., November 2014
- Do I love this enough to drink it again: no
- Would I recommend this to cider aficionados: good but not great
Visual: Pours clear dark cherry red, no head, tight clusters of micro active streams.
Nose: tangy mildly woody cherry juice, background apple. (lvl-5)-pungency
Attack: crisp acidic bite
Mid-palate: tangy deep cherry juice, (lvl-8-sweetness), light-med acidic sour, apple cider background
Finish: residual tart, fruity cherry exhale, cloying tangy apple sugars,
hint of cinnamon
Summary: Big cherry flavour, a bomb indeed. Lots of tartness, rich, albeit-predictable cherry flavour; it becomes cloying halfway through the bottle.
