on the front-left label:
“A style of ale fashioned to survive the long voyage from England to India during the British colonization. This award-winning IPA is about hops, hops, and more hops! This ale has an intense aroma and a long lingering finish. A beer for the connoisseur. This is the brewmaster’s choice.”
- Style: IPA
- Taste: Balanced creamy tangerine toffee malt controlled hoppy bitterness
- Do I love this enough to drink it again: no
- Would I recommend this to beer aficionados: yes
Visual: Pours clear copper brown with a large lasting very creamy head, thick sticky lacing, lots of fast clusters of streams.
Nose: super fragrant tangerine hops, background malts. (lvl-8)-pungency
Attack: creamy-thicker mouthfeel
Mid-palate: (lvl-5)-sweetness, (MAIN) fruity orange tangerine, toffee malts, barley w/ alcohol detection
Finish: smooth balanced bitter hops, tangerine exhale, lingering bitter hopped finish.
Summary: A very smooth and balanced IPA from start to finish, all with a superb mouthfeel. What’s amazing is this is usually sold in 6pack cans.
