- My Rating: B-
Falco IPA – Evil Twin Brewing, 7% ABV – 12 fl.oz., (Stratford, CT, USA)
on the front-side label:
“What makes a great leader? First of all a perfectly balanced blend of qualities, the ability to stand out – be authoratative without overpowering. Show courage and endurance – you will lead the way and set standards. Very important; be appealing and refreshing to the people. This stereotypical portrait applies whether referring to politics, religion or maybe even this outstanding IPA.”
- Style: India Pale Ale

Visual: Pours golden amber with minimal head, some lacing, not much retention, and several steady streams. Last bit in the bottle is cloudy.
Nose: sweet barley malt, citrus hops, (lvl-5)-pungency
Attack: crisp, creamy-fizzy
Mid-palate: (lvl-4)-sweetness, (MAIN) barley malts, orange citrus, bitter pine hops, papaya
Finish: persistent medium sharp bitter hops, smooth finish.
Summary: A smooth and balanced IPA with controlled hoppy bitterness and citrus aroma. Flavours are somewhat subdued, but actually very drinkable.
