Tasting notes: pours cloudy reddish-brown with a small foamy head, dispersed slow moving CO2 streams. A bit of fruity malt on the nose but rather muted. Sweetness (8/10) hits first, and then the pleasantly sour (5/10) tartness (3/10) kicks in, flavours of sweet red cherries, cream, which then transitions smoothly into almonds, vanilla, and medium malts. Finishes lingering soft bittersweet (6/10). Med-high complexity, med-high depth, great transitions, great carry, great drinkability. Excellent balance of sweet, malty, and nutty cream.
