On the back label:
“An off-dry (‘2’) white wine from our Okanagan falls vineyard. Fresh and lively on the palate, this wine shows aromas and flavours of pineapple, guava and honey.”
- My Rating: B-
- Why I might like it: very tropical fruity
- Who I recommend it to: fruity white wine lovers
- Where I got it: Kensington VQA wine store
- How much: $16 , 2010
- Bottom line: might drink again, would recommend.
- Tasting temperature: 13C
Wine Tasting Notes: Initial impression: much more palatable and lively than the Gehringer Bros. Ehrenfelser. Tastes of sweet chunky pineapple fruit, guava, apricot, lemon and mild honey (as advertised). Good sweetness level keeps you sipping while the acidity holds up nicely at the clean finish. A tinge too sweet on the initial sips but mellows out as the alcohol kicks in.
